A local utility in the Los Angeles County area is in search of a NERC (North American Electric Reliability Corporation Critical Infrastructure Protection) CIP (Critical Infrastructure Protection) Administrator to provide NERC CIP (Version 5 and 6) and cyber security administrative support including, ensuring CIP policy and procedure compliance, periodic reporting, and creating documentation related to NERC CIP requirements. Successful candidates should be familiar with the concept of but need not be experts in NERC CIP, will enjoy problem solving, and will have a passion for IT security and the power industry. This is a fulltime, 40 hour per week contract opportunity with an anticipated duration of at least one year. Primary Responsibilities: Ensure overall compliance with existing LADWP NERC CIP compliance process and procedures Assist in the development and maintenance of required documentation to meet current and future NERC CIP (Version 6 and beyond) requirements Provide compliance remediation activities to ensure mitigation timelines are met Develop and implement status/performance reports for monitoring successful completion of requirements by established due dates (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.) Assist in the implementation and enforcement of system security policies Remain current with NERC regulatory requirements To join our successful team please forward your resume, cover letter and any salary expectations via email to: Include LA17 in your email subject line.
