InHarvest, a premiere rice and grain provider headquartered in Bemidji MN, is seeking a Vice President, Food Service Sales to lead our strategic food service sales segment. Leading a sales team, the VP will have key responsibilities for providing strategic leadership and building value-based relationships across distributor and broker portfolio networks through collaborative planning and execution. The role will drive performance and influence distributor/broker agreements for expanding the availability and sale of current and future innovative InHarvest products while building the capability of and inspiring the sales team to grow our market presence by at least 10% annually. Our vision is to be the most valued, indispensable business partner and supplier to our distributors and brokers.
Key Responsibilities
+ Lead annual business planning for the portfolio of distributors and brokers, delivering against InHarvest strategic priorities while delivering mutual benefit to brokers and distributors.
+ Lead the development/enhancement of capabilities and implement training solutions across the sales team to drive profitable category growth with efficiency and accelerated speed to market.
+ Keep abreast of competitive activities and share insights appropriately across distribution team and distributor portfolio as appropriate
+ Enable the expansion of InHarvest innovation development programs and initiatives for distributors and brokers to increase availability in the marketplace while capturing incremental revenue and profit.
+ Manage and measure partnership activities against plan initiatives/opportunities.
+ Monitor and inspire cross-functional teams to drive improvement for higher level of differentiated service through efficient operational programs and service levels.
+ Manage and administer compliance of distributor agreement policies and guidelines for mutually managing the growth of our product portfolios across our collective operations.
+ Provide direct reports inspirational leadership that creates individual ownership of delivering annual goals focused on the work that matters most for executing our business strategy.
+ Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience - MBA preferred
+ 7+ years sales experience in the food service sector
+ Experienced knowledge of broker and distributor relationship management.
+ Proven track record of advanced selling and negotiation skills that increased company profitability.
+ Ability to create customer and company value through increased distributor/broker capability.
